What Our Patients Are Saying About Spinal Decompression

"I was taken by ambulance to the hospital because the pain in my lower back and down my leg was so bad I could not do more than lie on the living room couch. The paramedics had to use clam shell back board to get me from the house to the ambulance. The medical system was absolutely useless in my case. I heard Edmonton Neck and Back Pains ad's on CHED radio and decided to contact them. Dr. Woolf suggested the spinal decompression bed should work for me. I had my wife convert our mini van into an ambulance as I could not sit up in a vehicle, and take me into the clinic, while lying on my back in the back of the van This decision and Dr. Woolf's care, compassion, and knowledge saved my sanity, and my way of life. I finished the treatment schedule and with a few follow up adjustments, I have been pain FREE, absolutely NO PAIN for over 8 months. I now do everything that I have ever done from home renovations to long distance travel and walking and working trade shows. Dr. Woolf (and staff) Thank You."

"I have had back problems for about 28 years (Sharp pain in lower back and down right leg). It got to the point I could not stand up or walk very far. I heard about the Edmonton Neck and Back Clinic on the radio and thought I would try it out. They explained what they would do and how long it would take. After the first treatment I felt so good but it only lasted a short time. By treatment 6 or 7 it would feel better for 2 or 3 days. By treatment 15 or 16 I did not have any pain, I can now walk without pain, sleep without pain and drive without pain. This has let me do a normal day of work or play."

"I would recommend the decompression table for your pain. I was told by a Therapist, that I would not be getting well any time fast because I had a degenerative disk. After trying all kinds of treatments and pain pills I still could not walk without pain. I came as a last resort for these treatments. After my first 5 treatments I was walking better and by the end of all my treatments I can do all the things I love to do."

Dr. Woolf Asks some important questions of interest to Edmonton residents - Chiropractor Edmonton Dr. Woolf Asks...

What's the difference between sick care and health care?
Sick care is largely about relieving or suppressing symptoms. Health care is about improving performance. While sick care is about how you feel, health care is about how you function. Sick care is what you do to treat an obvious problem, and health care is what you do to avoid the problem and advance your well-being.
What is the purpose of pain?
Pain prompts many Edmonton folks to begin chiropractic care. But pain isn't the problem! Pain is just how your body alerts you that a limit has been reached (or exceeded), that something isn't working right and that some type of change is needed. As a chiropractor, my job is finding the underlying cause and recommending the changes needed to bring your body back into balance.
